The way we use analogue, quartz watches has remained unchanged over the last few decades. How might we enrich current interactions? From taking a photo to unlocking our phones, we learn to navigate the world with our finger tips. This observation lent itself to the design of a new timepiece. VOORT One challenges the current watch typology by integrating the watch crown into the case back as a push button; time is now set with a single touch. In doing so, a perfect circular symmetry can also be achieved.

From a manufacturing perspective, introducing a button at the back of the watch case was a technical challenge because that also meant that water could enter the timepiece. Hence, much time was invested in the design of a hydraulic seal that ensures water resistance. The initial hurdle eventually became an achievement as the first working prototype was developed after months of trial and error.
Just Classic.
Following the success of the first campaign, the classic collection offers a new interpretation to the existing timepieces. The result is a watch that celebrates both tradition and modernism.
